1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to Mattime! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mattime mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by EL Sueno LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Mattime is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training tracker and community platform that allows users to:

  • Track their training sessions and mat time
  • Set and monitor training goals
  • Connect with other BJJ practitioners
  • Participate in friendly competition through leaderboards
  • Share training progress and achievements

3. USER ACCOUNTS

3.1. Account Creation: To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3. Age Requirements: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental consent.

4. USER CONTENT AND CONDUCT

4.1. User Content: You retain ownership of content you post to the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.

4.2. Prohibited Content: You agree not to post content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
  • Harassing, defamatory, or invasive of privacy
  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate
  • Spam or commercial solicitation
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights

4.3. Community Guidelines: Users must treat all community members with respect and maintain a positive, supportive environment focused on BJJ training and improvement.

5. PRIVACY AND DATA

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENTS

6.1. Premium Features: Some features of the Service require a paid subscription ("Premium Features").

6.2. Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees.

6.3. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or app store account.

6.4. Refunds: Refunds are handled according to the app store's refund policy (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mattime and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. FITNESS AND HEALTH DISCLAIMERS

8.1. Not Medical Advice: The Service is for informational and tracking purposes only and is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

8.2. Training Risks: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts training involve inherent risks of injury. You participate in training activities at your own risk.

8.3. Consult Professionals: Always consult with qualified healthcare and training professionals before beginning or modifying any exercise program.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mattime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
