What is Bicep Slicer in BJJ?
Also known as: Bicep crush, Bicep lock
Quick Definition
A compression lock attacking the bicep by folding the arm over a fulcrum.
Full Explanation
The bicep slicer (or bicep crush) is a compression lock where you fold the opponent's arm over your forearm or shin, crushing the bicep between the humerus and your fulcrum. It often appears as a counter when the opponent defends the armbar by clasping their hands. By placing your shin across their arm and pulling, you compress the bicep painfully. In IBJJF, it is legal only at brown and black belt levels.
