What is Arm-In Ezekiel in BJJ?
Quick Definition
A variation of the ezekiel choke that traps the opponent's arm inside the choke.
Full Explanation
The arm-in ezekiel is a variation of the traditional ezekiel choke where you include the opponent's arm inside the choking configuration. This makes it harder to defend because the trapped arm limits their ability to create space. It can be applied from mount, side control, or even inside the guard. The no-gi version uses a palm-to-palm or fist grip instead of the gi sleeve.
Examples in Context
"The arm-in ezekiel is tighter because they can't defend with that arm"
"I use the arm-in ezekiel from mount when they block the regular one"
