The Bretzel stretch combines hip flexor, quad, and thoracic rotation stretches in one position. Lying on your side, you simultaneously open the chest and stretch the front of the hip. This multi-target stretch is highly efficient for grapplers with limited warm-up time.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1 Lie on your left side with your left leg bent in front of you at 90 degrees.
  2. 2 Grab your right foot behind you with your left hand, pulling into a quad stretch.
  3. 3 Place your right hand on your left knee to anchor it.
  4. 4 Rotate your right shoulder toward the floor behind you.
  5. 5 Try to get both shoulders on the ground while maintaining the positions.
  6. 6 Breathe deeply and hold.
