The quadruped adductor rock-back stretches the inner thigh by extending one leg to the side while on all fours and rocking backward. This controlled stretch targets the adductors that become tight from closed guard and knee shield positions. The all-fours position gives excellent control over stretch intensity.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1 Start on all fours with knees under hips.
  2. 2 Extend one leg straight out to the side with foot flat.
  3. 3 Keep the extended leg straight and foot pointing forward.
  4. 4 Slowly rock your hips back toward your bent heel.
  5. 5 Feel the stretch along the inner thigh of the straight leg.
  6. 6 Rock forward to return to the start and repeat.
